Welcome to Female Leaders on Fire, the podcast for women leading in the corporate world. I am Nicola Buckley, the coach for women leaders who are a real force for good and want to make a real difference in the corporate world without sacrificing family time, neglecting themselves or compromising who they are.
I take my clients on a hugely transformational journey that really changes their life. I help them to really step into their values and find out who they truly are at their heart. I help them to find their way to lead, and I help them to step past any beliefs or stories that are holding them back.
This really is a podcast for women who are change-makers, who are fire starters, and they’re on a quest to challenge and change the corporate world. And they dream big and they want to leave a legacy. It can be lonely at the top. It doesn’t need to be anymore. I’m the coach here to hold your hands to really change the corporate world and be the leader of that you know you are.

Hi and welcome to the female leaders on fire podcast, the podcast for women leading in the corporate world. I’m super excited to be here today. So I’m going to be introducing what the podcast is about and who I am and how I can help you. So I am Nicola Buckley. I am the coach for when leading in the corporate world who are real force for good and want to make a real difference in the corporate world without sacrificing family time, neglecting themselves or compromising who they are. So I take my clients on a hugely transformational journey that it’s, it becomes a sliding doors moments that really changes their life. So I help them to really step into their values and find out who they truly are at their heart. I help them to find their way to lead, and I help them to step past any beliefs or stories that are holding them back.

So really, if we bring that all together, I help them to find their fire. And when they find their fire, that passion and that purpose, they have more impact. They have more influence and they have more income as a result. So the podcast, the female need is on fire podcast is the start of a movement that I’m so excited about that I just, I have to keep pinching myself. But if you think about the last year, we’ve had a year, like never before where my life, your life everyone’s life is almost unrecognizable to how it was 18 months ago. So the female leaders, especially I’ve just spaced such a challenging year. I work with amazing female leaders day in, day out, and it’s been really relentless this year. So being juggling work and home, those home responsibilities, and yet still wanting to make that impact at work, the blurred boundaries of working from home when it’s family time, how to switch off that remote leadership.

So leading your team without necessarily seeing them and people joining your team, you might not even have met influencing online. So there’s no opportunity for those little cold little conversations or quick catch-up over a cover. And then also the fighting to be heard and doing that in the context of just a world that is unrecognizable to how it was. And there’s been no wiggle room. There’s been no recipe. There’s been no time to breathe. We’ve probably all felt it it’s been relentless is the only the word I can best think to describe it. And it comes up from my clients a lot and it might feel like your drained of your passion. It might feel like you’re pushed to your limits. And you’ve just lost a sense of who you are, but you just keep going because you don’t know how to stop, stop and feel scary.

So it’s tying back to come back to more normality. So we hope for better times ahead. I really think there’s been a and a change. And it’s time to come back to focusing on you, to create hope, to start to trust yourself again, and really redefined your fire in that love of what you do and create a life that you love and a career that is just on fire. And there’s never been a better time to change. And the corporate world needs this. The corporate world needs more female leaders. It needs the diversity, the empathy, and the profitability and women that have that passion and that drive and that determination to make a shift and change in the corporate world and to be a real role model, to inspire future leaders as well. And I truly believe that it was a new way to lead.

It’s not about being a. It’s not about being a yes woman. It’s not about being, acting like a man or just fitting in anymore. That’s not what it is about. And it’s not about sacrificing family time. It’s not about neglecting yourself and what you want and need. And it’s not about compromising who you are to be heard and to be fit in. So my podcast is here to start the revolution, the revolution of leading from your heart, embracing, being a woman and leading with empathy, vulnerability, but above all, leading as who you truly are in your own way. And at the heart of that is my 16 years in corporate marketing, where I led multi-million pound launches for household names. The business that I had, it was focused on consulting and helping businesses. The two six figure businesses that I’ve already created and also being an ICF coach.
